By accessing or using the Whatcom Roofing Inc. website ("Site") and any services provided through it, including our SMS text messaging program ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Whatcom Roofing Inc. is a licensed roofing contractor (License #WHATCR1754KA) providing residential and commercial roofing services throughout Whatcom County, Washington. Through the Site you may request estimates, schedule appointments, and communicate with our team by phone, email, or our embedded chat and SMS messaging widget.
3. SMS Text Messaging Program Terms
The following terms govern all SMS text messages sent by or on behalf of Whatcom Roofing Inc. They are required for our Application-to-Person (A2P) messaging program and apply the moment you opt in.
3.1 Opt-In & Consent
By engaging with our embedded chat widget and providing your mobile telephone number — our sole SMS opt-in channel — you expressly consent to receive recurring automated and non-automated SMS text messages from Whatcom Roofing Inc. regarding appointment scheduling, estimates, service updates, and related communications at the number you provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies.
3.2 Message & Data Rates
Standard message and data rates may apply to messages sent to and from your mobile device. Check with your wireless carrier if you have questions about your messaging plan.
3.3 Opt-Out (STOP)
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. You will receive a confirmation message confirming your opt-out. Opting out of SMS does not opt you out of other communications (phone or email) unless you separately request it.

3.5 Delivery & Carrier Liability
We cannot guarantee the timely or successful delivery of SMS messages. Wireless carriers and other intermediaries are not affiliated with or liable for our SMS program. We are not responsible for delays or failures in message delivery caused by carrier networks, device incompatibility, or factors outside our control.
3.6 Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to opt in to our SMS program and to use the Services.
4. Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict the use and enjoyment of, any other party. Prohibited conduct includes transmitting unlawful, harmful, or harassing content, attempting to gain unauthorized access, or interfering with the Site's operation.
